چکیده
Due to the recent global increase in fuel prices, reduce emissions from ground transportation and improve urban air quality, it is necessary efficiency emissions. Water, methanol, a mixture of two were added at pre-intercooler position keep same charge cooling original rich mixture, BSFC ITE, promote combustion. The methanol/water mixing volume ratios different injection strategies compared find best balance between consumption, performance, emission trends. By simulating combustion mechanism water, diesel mixed through Chemkin system, ignition delay, temperature change, generation rate hydroxyl group (−OH) reaction process analyzed. Furthermore, performance engine analyzed combination with actual experiment process. This paper studied application concentration water–methanol–diesel engines. Five water–methanol blending injected into position, such as 100% 90% methanol/10% 60% methanol/40% 30% methanol/70% water was used. With premixes, affected by droplet extinguishment, flashing, or explosion, resulting changes affecting In this article, carryout intake port indicated thermal brake specific consumption decrease concentration, CO, UHC, nitrogen oxide particular, when methanol 40% added, found that delay shortest cylinder pressure largest, but heat release indeed lowest.

Studying Simultaneous Injection of Natural Gas and Gasoline Effect on Dual Fuel Engine Performance and Emissions
According to the Global Fuel Crisis, it seems necessary to use alternative fuel instead of gasoline. Since the natural gas is cheaper, have higher frequency than gasoline and less pollution, it is a suitable fuel. Many efforts have been done in order to replace gasoline with natural gas. One of the methods is to inject natural gas and gasoline fuel simultaneously and to use the benefits of both...
متن کاملEffect of Injection Characteristics on Emissions and Combustion of a Gasoline Fuelled Partially-premixed Compression Ignition Engine
Conventional compression ignition (CI) engines are known for their high thermal efficiency compared to spark ignited (SI) engines. Gasoline because of its higher ignition delay has much lower soot emission in comparison with diesel fuel. Using double injection strategy reduces the maximum heat release rate that leads to NOx emission reduction. In this paper, a numerical study of a gasoline fuel...

متن کاملNumerical Investigation on the Effect of Injection Timing on Combustion and Emissions in a DI Diesel Engine at Low Temperature Combustion Condition
One promising way to achieve low temperature combustion regime is the use of a large amount of cooled EGR. In this paper, the effect of injection timing on low temperature combustion process and emissions were investigated via three dimensional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) procedures in a DI diesel engine using high EGR rates. The results show when increasing EGR from low levels to levels...
